Salesforce Marketing Cloud Senior Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Presenting – prepare high-quality client presentations and co-facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, particularly those focused on Marketing Strategy and Marketing Cloud capabilities
  • Requirements gathering
    • Understand AS-IS process flows and work with key client stakeholders to elicit TO-BE processes across Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Core Cloud
    • Gather, challenge, and simplify client requirements to align to Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud best practices
    • Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, working with the Functional Lead to deliver scalable, best-practice Marketing Cloud and Salesforce solutions
  • Solution design
    • Own the Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Data Cloud functional design on small to medium projects, including identity resolution, segmentation, journey flows and activation patterns
    • Work with the client, delivery and technical colleagues to refine requirements and design cross-cloud solutions that leverage Marketing Cloud Next
  • Configuration
    • Take responsibility for complex configuration of Marketing Cloud Next & Salesforce Data Cloud in alignment with solution design documents, delegating configuration where appropriate
    • Estimate and plan configuration and build work on small to medium projects
  • Testing – Support internal testing, data validation, cross-cloud activation testing, and client UAT
  • Training – Run workshops to train clients, Administrators and Marketing teams on Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud, and activation use cases
  • Client relationship – Engage with stakeholders to analyse business processes, functional requirements and cross-cloud data dependencies
  • Mentoring – Help develop junior colleagues through shadowing and capability uplift
  • Growth – Support pre-sales with identifying future Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Core Cloud opportunities
  • Travel – A willingness to travel as and when required

 

Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement with experience in marketing strategy, journeys and execution
  • 4+ years Salesforce project delivery experience end-to-end, with strong organisational skills and experience working across multiple Salesforce clouds
  • Degree educated or strong experience within the Salesforce implementation environment

 

Business Skills:

  • Passionate about Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AI/Agentforce, Data Cloud
  • Communication – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently facilitate workshops and articulate marketing cloud, cross-cloud and Data Cloud concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Teamwork/Collaboration – Strong team orientation, with experience supporting and upskilling less experienced team members
  • Presentation Skills – Ability to share Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and Core Cloud expertise with audiences of all levels
  • Problem Solving – Excellent ability to anticipate problems, identify solutions and simplify complex data scenarios
  • Adaptable – Ability to adopt a flexible work style in changing circumstances and shift priorities when necessary
